629 5th Ave (by 17th St.)
Husband and wife owners, Paul and Dee love Texas and they love creating a perfect bar experience. Cozy and welcoming, this is hands down one of the best bars in the Slope. Nothing goes better with one of their 12 draft beers or numerous bottle selections than a perfectly cooked grilled cheese. Try it with jalapenos and strawberry jam. (Don't knock it 'til you've tried it.) They have a happy backyard with comfortable benches and a chalkboard wall. Play Buck Hunter while downing a pickleback and digging into their complementary buttered popcorn. Daily 6pm-9pm $1 off all beer/wine/liquor.
676 5th Ave (by 20th St.)
Somehow Quarter manages to avoid the more boisterous feel of its neighboring bars. Its dark and wooded interior makes you feel like you've stumbled upon a hidden hideaway. Outside, however, lives a mini garden oasis that offers weekend bbq's. It has 6 beers on draft but their cocktails are created thoughtfully and are worth every cent. M-F 3pm-8pm $2 off all beer/wine/well drinks.
703 5th Ave (by 22nd St.)
Admit it, bars with aquariums are cool. The one behind the bar here is especially impressive. The nautical theme is apparent throughout the bar with a mini stream in the backyard and a Mermaid-ish mural inside. Seeing all that water might make you thirsty so it's a good thing they have a respectable selection of 20 beers on tap. $2 off drafts 'til 7pm.
718 5th Ave (by 23rd St.)
This reminds us of that time we were in Warsaw and. . . OK, we've never been to Poland. But if we had, I'm sure the influence of owners Krystian and Damien (both from Poland) would take us back to that special time. 718 is a small bar but it has a huge projector in the back to watch movies and big games. There's a great vibe here and some really unique bottles to get your hands on. Every day 12pm-8pm $1 off everything.
356 6th Ave (by 5th St.)
With its old school charm and wooden wonder, this is a solid option if you're thirsty. Located on one of the quieter avenues in the Slope, this spot has 20 microbrews on tap that you can enjoy inside while admiring the brick walls or outside while relaxing on one of their eye-catching green picnic tables. There's a full food menu here, as well. M-F 4pm-7pm $1 off drinks.
689 6th Ave (by 20th St.)
This place focuses on sports and pub food almost more than it focuses on its drinks. And that's not necessarily a bad thing. Throw on your favorite jersey and down a beer or four while enjoying some Park Slope mac & cheese bites. Nothing fancy. And that's not necessarily a bad thing. Mon-Thurs 4pm-7pm $1 off drafts, $3.50 bottles. Fri- 4pm-7pm $3 drafts.
Old Carriage Inn
317 7th Ave (by 9th St.)
Repeat after me: There's nothing wrong with stepping into the past. There's nothing wrong with... eh, forget the past. There's nothing wrong with drinking cheap beer in a classic sports lounge (even if a few of the patrons might think that Davey Johnson is still the manager of the Mets.) So, order your Budweiser, play a little pool, and get your karaoke voice ready for some "Total Eclipse of the Heart." M-F 4pm-7pm $4 drafts, $3.50 bottles.
381 7th Ave (by 11th St.)
Brookvin boasts a simple indoor elegance and a cozy outdoor garden. Its emphasis on delicious wines makes perfect sense since the owners also own Big Nose Full Body (a popular wine store across the street). Though its kitchen is small, the flavors of its menu are big and pair nicely with their drink lists. In the fall, they offer a pumpkin-infused bourbon that is out of this world. Mon- All night! Tues-Fri 5pm-7pm, Sat-Sun 12pm-5pm $6 selected wines, $4 drafts, 1/2 off snacks.
555 7th Ave (by 19th St.)
This is a GIGANTIC 13,000 square foot beer garden. Really. It's indoors, it's outdoors, it's got food, a fireplace, three bocce courts, and two bars. It's got family-friendly hours during the day but it loses the . strollers at night. Watch the game on one of the six TV's while deliberating on which of their 20+ drafts to down. M-F 12pm-7pm $4 drafts and well drinks.
210 Prospect Park West (by 16th St.)
14 unique rotating microbrews and amazing french fries? Sold! This place is solid and its location makes it a prime spot for anyone looking for a great place to go near the park. M-F 3pm-7pm, Sat-Sun 12pm-4pm $4 drafts and $1 off all else. Cash only.
475 3rd Ave (btwn 10th & 11th st.)
Deceptively unassuming from the outside, the inside of this cocktail lounge has everything the booze hounds want/crave. Wicked smart bartenders. Pages of inventive cocktails. Couches in the back. Free seasoned popcorn. A piano. An outside area. Even a Photo Booth. I'm a huge fan of this place. They treat cocktails like the art that they are. Their new 'Dead of Winter Cocktail List' will warm you to your core. Try the Positively 9th Street (Wheat whiskey, house whiskey bitters, lemon zest, and a whiskey cherry) and try anything that has their jalapeno-infused bourbon in it! 5pm-7pm every daily (Mon. all night!) $1 off cocktails, $1 off certain beers and house wines.
543 3rd Ave (by 14th St.)
If you enjoy laid-back bars, cold beers, pressed sandwiches, an outdoor garden space, and board game options, then you're going to like this place. It's got a wooden bar and benches... brick walls... dim lighting. It just kind of feels right to drink here. Try it for yourself. 5pm-8pm daily $1 off drafts/well.

There's nothing frou-frou about this place other than its beers. They're showy in the sense that they are thoughtfully chosen and thoroughly delicious. With 18 drafts to choose from and salty options like olives, pickles, pistachios, or pork rinds, this place is a nice after-work getaway. Daily 1pm-7pm $2 off drafts.
74 5th Ave (by St. Mark's Pl.)

It features a U-shaped bar and offers a tasty selection of charcuterie options. Daily 5pm-8pm $4 drafts and $6 wine. $8 specialty cocktail.
196 5th Ave (by Sackett St.)
Here, they effectively "explore the potential" of their cocktails. There is a carefulness that is apparent both with their drink menu and their food menu. If you're feeling fancy, stop by and relax with our favorite drink here, the Old-Fashioned. Want something more "fresh" or "summer-y"? Try the Cecily Parsley with (you guessed it) parsley, cucumbers, lemon, and gin. M-F 4pm-7pm $2 off house cocktails, $1 off beer and wine.
